On the Gogolevsky Boulevard there is an exhibition dedicated to the photographs which Mark the Bishop took and sent to his friends during his numerous journeys.
The opening of the photo exhibition was on August 4 in both solemnity and home atmosphere. The exhibition opened with the performance of a folklore ensemble, after which distinguished guests went on the stage.
Together with the author of the photos and Head of the Financial and Economic Department of the Russian Orthodox Church, Mark the Metropolitan of Ryazan and Mikhailovsky, the ceremony was also attended by the Head of the Department of National Policy of Interregional Cooperation and Tourism of Moscow, Vladimir V. Chernikov and Moscow Mayor Counsellor, State Duma deputy, curator of the Program for the Construction of Orthodox Churches in Moscow, Vladimir I. Resin.
Guests enjoyed the views of colorful photos of Russia with Russian folk songs performed by a folklore ensemble. As a gracious host, Mark the Metropolitan treated the guests with tea from real samovars and cakes. The participants of the event received not only positive impressions, but also a memorable souvenir, which was a calendar with one of the exhibited photos.
