Created by Simmetrico in partnership with Illogic, the project aims to tell about the role of copper in the history and future of mankind, the creation of breakthrough technologies and improvement of people’s life quality using innovative multimedia technologies. The objective is also to tell about the future projects of RMK, designed to meet the growing demand of the domestic and world industry in copper highlighting the importance of this metal for the future.
The stand of Russian Copper Company (RMK) at INNOPROM 2018 – designed, developed and build by Simmetrico in collaboration with Illogic – broke all records: on external attractiveness (visitors noticed that stand first of all at the entrance to the pavilion), attendance (it was impossible to pass it by), interactivity (innovative multimedia solutions on the stand were breathtaking and publications of it enthralled the accounts of visitors) and the main information idea (Copper is the DNA of civilization).
High-resolution LED screen with a total area of 550 sq. m. “called” everyone to visit the brightest exhibitor of INNOPROM this year, and the guests of the stand literally passed through a real kaleidoscope designed by Simmetrico to make visitors in the element of copper become children again. Its mirror walls were made in the form of a copper crystal lattice, and the video with the images of copper-containing minerals created the impression of immersion deep into the structure, into the very essence of copper.
The pride of the exposition was the central kinetic installation in the form of a DNA molecule, able to embodies the Simmetrico’s three main assets: the Italian taste of the design, pushing technologies to their limits and treating the contents in edutainment key.
It was controlled with the help of gestures: you flip through the air with your hand choosing an interesting topic in the holographic pyramid, make a fist and the topic goes up, making the tower screens to take the form of a DNA spiral.
Holographic theater – copper curtains in the form of petals were undrawn and it opened a view of 6 holograms-subjects from the life of the company. The length of the theater was 8 meters. Its curtain was made of 300 triangular plates printed on a 3D printer. The plates set 177 drives in motion. The theater itself learns when the visitor is ready to pay attention to it, and opens the curtain, showing fascinating holographic performances. At certain hours of the day, the kinetic curtain is fully opened and that allows to view all of the objects simultaneously.
With the help of different images, an interactive holographic timeline told the history from the beginning of the Copper Age.
On the 2nd floor there was a unique touch – an interactive holographic cube, brought specially from Australia.
Most of the technologies used at the RMK stand are specially conceived by Simmetrico for the project as a novelty not only for Russia, but for the whole world!
