On October 19, 2016 the V International Electric Power Forum RUGRIDS-ELECTRO finished in Moscow, which was operated by the Grata Adv group of companies.

“The Forum is considered to be one of the main industry events of the year,” said the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in an official message to participants and guests of RUGRIDS-ELECTRO 2016.

This year we have strengthened the business program of the Forum with a large number of discussion and interactive events involving headliners and key figures of the electric power industry of Russia and the world, and organised the exhibition, which managed to demonstrate the full technical potential of Russian and international electric power companies.

“The pace of life, modern technologies, market challenges, the scale of tasks – all this makes us, as the operator of RUGRIDS-ELECTRO, look for new forms of industry events. At the forum we offer to get into the register of innovative solutions of Russian grids, to assess the relevance of your developments in the startup area, to receive direct consultation on certification of equipment, to meet key buyers from the electricity market, to visit the exhibition and attend professional debates,” said Tatiana Panferova, President of the group of companies Grata Adv which was the operator of the Forum RUGRIDS-ELECTRO.

In 2 days, the forum and exhibition were attended by more than 3,000 people from 18 countries, including officials, heads and managers of companies, manufacturers and buyers, young scientists and founders of start-ups, as well as the APEC delegation.

“No one has organized any forum so quickly and qualitatively,” said Victoria Korsikova, CEO of ENERGOMERA which was the general partner of RUGRIDS-ELECTRO 2016.

FORUM PROGRAM

Within the framework of the forum program, more than 40 events were held and more than 200 speakers performed..

The main tracks of the program: smart energy, innovations, strategy, EnergyNet, IT and diagnostics.

One of the key events of the business program of the forum was the main plenary session “Electric Power Engineering 4.0. On the verge of global technological change.” During their speeches, the leading players of the electricity market of Russia and the world considered the architecture of the future power grid complex and raised key issues in the field of electricity – innovation, energy control and accounting, modernization of the financial and economic model, cybersecurity. All the proposed topics were further developed in the continuation of the business program of the Forum.

EXHIBITION

On an area of almost 3000 sqm, about 50 exhibitors presented the latest developments and competitive products. Among the exhibitors were SAP, ABB, ProSoft-Systems, Estralin Power Systems, Engineering center “Continuum”, the Ryazan State Instrument plant, Elecom, ZETO, Globalelektroservis, Tavrida electric, INC “MIR”, Skolkovo Foundation, 1C, Camlin Rus, RPE Testelektro, Systems and Technology, Microsoft, “Izolyator” Plant, “IT”, SEL KAZAKHSTAN, Cisco, Prysmian Group Russia, POLYPLASTIC Group, Siemens, Maykor-GMCS, Renault, Panasonic, Technocomplekt and Special design office for electrical instrument engineering.

Exhibitors demonstrated their latest developments and technological solutions in the sphere of electric power industry.

Special attention of the visitors was attracted by special thematic expositions:

• “Innovation podium” is a demonstration platform for modern technological developments in the electric power industry. This is where presentations of the podium participants took place. There was also an Interactive stand “Energy of the Future for Dummies”, which attracted a lot of visitors with the help of an innovative interactive educational game, participating in which the guests controlled the power system from the control panel. There were the subsidiaries and affiliates of PAO Rosseti among the active participants who presented their innovative developments – IDGC of Center and Volga Region, IDGC of Center, Moscow united electric grid company, IDGC of the North-West, Tyumenenergo, IDGC of the North Caucasus, Yantarenergo, Lenenergo, IDGC of Volga, IDGC og the Urals, Kubanenergo, IDGC of Siberia, FGC UES, TDK, IDGC of South.
• “Growth Reserves” is an innovative technological platform that has allowed young companies and teams to demonstrate original developments and solutions. Experienced players in the market acted as spectators.
• “Smart City” is a “SMART”-platform that presented smart technologies and solutions in the urban environment.
• The “Certification commission “gave the participants an opportunity to pass the procedure of accreditation of equipment and standards in accordance with the Requirements of the Unified technical policy of PAO “Rosseti” as a priority, as well as to consult on the preparation of the necessary documents in accordance with the technical requirements of PAO “Rosseti”.

AGREEMENTS

During the Forum, 10 cooperation agreements were signed. Among the signees were representatives of Rosseti, Tavrida Electric, Hevel, KRET, IDGC, FTC, National engineering center, Unitel, NOT, Profotek, VNIIMS.
